Day 24
I put in my 2nd trays tomorrow, i'm a bit excited!!! But i've read that i should put them in be4 bed, in case of discomfort. So i'll have to hang out 'till then. They are going well and most people don't notice they're in. so far only 1 person has asked me, but 1 person in 24 days is pretty good!!! I've got alot of trays left, all up i have 24 upper 18 lower, i think (?), so that leaves 23 upper 17 lower. I have a question for anyone who can answer... After the 18 on the bottom, i still have some left for the top, do i wear a retainer on the bottom throughout this? i'm a little confused lol!!!

Hi Jenna, good to read your blog.
Ask your ortho about what type of retainers you will be using when you've finished with your invisalign trays. For most people, retainers are worn full time for a few months, then nightly and some remain that way, or change to a few nights a week for life.

This is a good question. Many people are saying that their final invisalign trays, meant to serve as a retainer, were stretching. The streching caused unwanted teeth movement. So, if you are to wear your last upper one while the lower is still going through treatment, will it hold its form?
